What is the difference between ISO 13849 and IEC 62061?+
Both cover the safety of machinery control systems. EN ISO 13849-1 uses Performance Levels (PL) and EN IEC 62061 uses Safety Integrity Levels (SIL). IEC 61508 is the underlying functional safety standard. We help you apply the right approach for your machine.
Can you verify the PL or SIL of existing safety functions?+
Yes. We review the design and components of existing safety functions and carry out PL/SIL verification.
