Our story
FROM AUTOMATION FLOORS TO MISSION-CRITICAL HALLS.
JJA Group was built on a controls and electrical engineering practice developed in Australia over two decades. Turnkey automation for food and beverage, packaging and metal processing plants, where a stopped line is counted in money per minute.
That capability moved to Europe with the data centre build-out. We are currently contracting to leading engineering firms on a 60MW hyperscale data centre programme in Dublin and London, designing and commissioning Rockwell PlantPax DCS and PLC control systems, including redundant network topology and onsite commissioning.
We work across both major control platforms. Rockwell, including PlantPax DCS, Studio 5000 and ControlLogix, and Siemens, including S7-300 and S7-1500, TIA Portal and WinCC. Most automation engineers carry one. Holding both means we are not steering you toward the platform we happen to know.
Two constraints became clear. The first is people: the number of hands who can install, test and prove a power train to the standard these facilities require. The second is software. Controls code, points schedules and test documentation are now the slowest mile on most programmes, and the last thing finished before handover.
JJA Group works on both. We take electrical and controls scope across Ireland, the United Kingdom and mainland Europe, we develop the crews to deliver it rather than competing for a pool that is already stretched, and we use AI-assisted tooling to draft the configuration, scripts and documentation that hold programmes up. Engineers still make every decision that matters.

Leadership

JJA Group is led by Raymond Sanchez, an Australian control systems engineer with twenty-five years in industrial automation and electrical engineering.
He built and ran his own automation practice in Australia for sixteen years, delivering turnkey systems to food and beverage, packaging and metal processing clients. He holds ABB and Kuka robot programming certification and has directed project teams on large-scale automation builds, including a pharmaceutical serialisation line.
He has since been engaged in senior contract engineering roles with BlueScope, on automation upgrades across a global steel manufacturing facility, and with Jacobs in Ireland, on Siemens PLC architecture, machine safety system design and FAT and CAT testing.
That work brought him into Europe's data centre build-out, and into the constraint defining it: the availability of engineers who can deliver to the standard these facilities require. He founded JJA Group in response, and remains principal engineer on the company's programme in Dublin and London.
JJA Group operates from Poland, delivering across Ireland, the United Kingdom and mainland Europe.
